Which gardening tool to use for pulling weeds?

I have three gardening tool: Jimmy, age 9, good at PE and lunch in school, my husband Terry, 43, good for nothing except after the annual Christmas party when he’s good for 8 minutes, and Jenny, age 16, going on 23, good at doing her hair for 2 hours prior to going to school in the morning.
They are all tools, which is best to use in eradicating weeds from my tulip bed?
But Drizzt, my husband can probably do it in 8 minutes. It just wouldn't be thorough.

I can't think of any other reason really that you couldnt try it. you could look for other perennials that are later bloomers…. columbines, poppies, yarrow… or perhaps fill it with herbs?

You should use all 3. Working together they can get it done faster had have time for the rest of the yard work.
I suggest using whips as an incentive to work faster.
I vote Jimmy, he seems the most easily manipulated.
I say the 9 year old, because he is the youngest and will probably get it done the fastest. Especially if you offer him more money if he gets it done quicker. The other 2 just wouldn’t care. lol
Use them all, but be delicate:
Terry – liquor him up and have him pull weeds at a fever pitch for 8 minutes, the let him lie in the garden to sleep it off.
Jimmy next – bury a grilled cheese sandwich in the dirt and he’ll basically till your garden looking for it.
Jenny – have her tell the neighborhood boys that the first one to remove all the weeds gets to cop a feel on her.
You will have zero weeds left after this phase 3 deployment of your tools.
