Outdoor Shed I Can Build to Store My Ryobi Garden Tools?

A 4 x 2 garden chalet made of cedar wood should be pretty cheap for your ryobi garden tools. Build one with double doors and adjustable internal height. You can easily build one in a single afternoon.

What type of metal are garden trowel made of?

Glenda asked:

What type of metal are garden trowel made of? The ones with quite a polished / light surface?

Cheers

Reply:

I have to go with what Dave said. They can be made from any quality of steel. Depends on the price. A lower quality of steel can be used since the strength of the tool is in the blade’s curved shape, and it could be sold for less money. A flat blade, therefore, would need to rely on the steel strength solely to keep it’s strength and shape.

Garden Rake?

Jerson asked:

I was doing garden work this weekend and my wife was about to take a
shower.
I realised that I couldn’t find the garden rake. I yelled up to my wife, “Where is the garden rake?”
She couldn’t hear me and she shouted back, “What?” I pointed to my eye,
then I pointed to my knee and made a raking motion.
Then my wife wasn’t sure and said “What?”
I repeated the gestures. “Eye – Kneed – The Rake”
My wife replied that she understands and signals back.
She first points to her eye, next she points to her left breast, then

Exasperated, I went upstairs and asked her, “What the hell was that?
She replies,

Folding in tools locked in their ‘out’ position on a multi-tools for garden handset? It’s a bit like a Swiss pen knife – the tools get clicked/locked into their out position while in use, but I can’t work out how to unlock them to fold them back in to the handle. Any ideas? I’m sure it’s very simple but I can’t work it out!!

There should be a metal collar, ring type thingy which needs sliding back or twisting if it is anything like my set. Good luck.
