Gardening 101: How do I start a garden tools reviews? What type of garden tools do you suggest? Serious replies only.? Right now the area is partially covered with mulch.
Reply:
Start small…identify a small area or existing bed and focus on good soil first. Then try to use native or local plants…they’ll be easier to grow and best for a beginner. Don’t forget to mulch afterwards to keep down the weeds and help the garden retain moisture.
As for garden tools reviews, I need a rake, a shovel, and a pitch fork.

Kelly Asked:
Where can I find Fiskars Garden Tools wholesalers who will drop ship for any amount? I’m operating an online business selling garden tools, and need to broaden my selection of tools. Fiskars minimum wholesale shipment is $500. I’m not ready for that. Another wholesaler has a 450 minimum. Most garden tools wholesale under $20, so that precludes their drop shipping to my customers. Who is out there that is reliable?

Hi, I want to make a gardening gift basket for my mother in law for her birthday. What are some practical things I can put into the planter. I am setting everything up in a rustic wheel barrel planter I purchased. I also wanted to add some extra things…and I thought of a nail brush and nice hand cream any other extras come to mind that I should add? Thanks a lot.
P.S. I don’t want to include seed packets or bulbs, since she already has most of that stuff

I had a pair of Felco garden tools pruners (the original – #2) but lost them last fall. I need to replace them but I’m wondering if there is really a big difference between #2 and #5. I’m not a professional, gardening is just a hobby.
Any thoughts? #2 is about $50 and #5 is $30. Thanks!

A plant sale sold a mulit-use garden hand tool but sold out quickly. Does anyone have a favorite? This was an unusual looking tool with a claw and had a sharp side to cut also. It was $15.00. I have tried calling the plant sale and they don’t remember the name and I have done a internet search with no luck.
REply:
I like my hori hori, it’s useful for digging, sawing and cutting. Works great for planting bulbs. Here a link to show you:
